Multiple entries from a single artist or collaborative team are acceptable. A separate Entry Form must be submitted and separate Entry Fee paid for each entry.
All artworks must be available for display for the duration of the exhibition (June 3 – July 1, 2022)
Entrants must agree to comply with the terms and conditions of Paper off Skin.

THE ARTWORK
All entries must consist of at least 80% paper. Paper is defined as a material made from cellulose fibre which has been compressed into sheets (please enquire if you are unsure).
The competition is not themed.
Works must be garment-inspired, linked to wearable art, or demonstrate the development of techniques/methodology which could be used in future wearable paper artwork.
Size: The artwork must fit within a package which has maximum measurements of H:700mm, W: 500mm, D: 440mm or equivalent. The unpacked garment may exceed these measurements (for example, a soft textured hanging piece).
Each entry must be the original work of the artist(s) identified on the Entry Form. Works must not include or reproduce images or material for which a copyright licence or permission has not been granted.
If you do not identify as a First Nations artist and your work contains culturally sensitive material, please provide additional evidence with your entry of consultation with the appropriate First Nations’ community.
If electrical items are included, they must be tagged and tested before delivery at the artist’s expense.
If batteries are required, these must be supplied with the artwork.
Artworks must be safely and securely packed for delivery.
Should the artwork require specific props for display purposes, this must be discussed with the organisers and comply with gallery regulations. Any display props must be delivered (and returned) at the expense of the artist.
Final decisions about display methods will be at the discretion of the curator and gallery staff, working within the limitations of the space available.
Works can be for sale. RANT commission is 30%. Sales sheets calculating commission can be provided. Sales enquiries will be directed to the artist. Please indicate on Entry Form if your work will be for sale.
Completed works must align with information submitted in the Entry Criteria.
Failure to meet some, or all of these criteria may result in disqualification or the work not being eligible for judging or inclusion in the exhibition.
